Kara Bragg is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with nearly 20 years of experience
providing high-quality, patient-centered care across a range of specialties including family
medicine, cardiology, urgent care, and intensive care. She is the co-founder of Specialty
Care Clinics of Hubbard, where she blends clinical excellence with small-town compassion to
serve individuals and families in her community.
Kara earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington and
continues to serve as adjunct faculty for UTA’s Family Nurse Practitioner program, mentoring
the next generation of advanced practice nurses. She has been honored with multiple academic
and professional awards throughout her career, including a nomination for Advanced Practice
Provider of the Year at Baylor Scott & White.
Prior to opening her own clinic, Kara practiced at Baylor Scott & White for over a decade,
where she was known for her personalized, preventative approach and strong patient
relationships. She is especially passionate about primary care preventative care, weight
management, mental health, and chronic disease care.
A lifelong Texan, Kara lives in Hubbard with her husband and two children. She is proud to
